Shawn “Big Shake” Davis knows good food.

Shawn Davis started in the culinary world when he was 12, working summers at a restaurant on Fire Island. Seven years later, he was head chef. A star in food and business, Shawn took his talents to Virginia, where he studied Hotel and Restaurant Management and later procured a position at G.E. Capital. After honing his business acumen, he made his way to Tennessee to strike out on his own and raise a family.

Bringing together his business insight, culinary expertise, and fatherly experience, Shawn’s “Original Shrimp Burger” was created for his newly vegetarian daughter. It landed him a spot on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2011. From there, his brand grew by leaps and bounds. Now he runs Chef Big Shake (CBS) Foods with his wife Robin. Big Shake’s Hot Chicken is the latest and greatest venture for this entrepreneur, chef, and family man.
